Dover Street Market is a shop to go if you are a real fashionist.
Designers clothes you can see there are the masterpieces, works of art.
Concept and Direction of this shop is made by a Japanese designer Rei KAWAKUBO, who says:
"I want to create a kind of market where various creators from various fields gather together and encounter each other in an ongoing atmosphere of beautiful chaos:
the mixing up and coming together of different kindred souls who all share a strong personal vision.
I would like for DSM to be the place where fashion becomes fascinating."

Last summer I took Filipa to see this gallery of high fashion, situated in expensive posh area of Mayfair.
Very close to pricy shops in Bond Street, there is this kind of exclusive market-meets-department-concept-store with 75 fashion brands.
Valentino, Comme -De -Garcons, Lanvin, Christian Louboutin, John Galliano....
As a designer-to-be she was pretty excited about the beauty
of all the clothing items she could freely touch or try on.
Of course, the prices were sky high, but watching and touching was free of charge.
We didn't have the feeling as if we were in an exclusive, and verrrry expensive shop,
it felt like walking around a big gallery
(it is a building with 6 floors, about 1300 square metres large, with a Rose Bakery cafe on the top floor).
According to Vogue it is the coolest shop in London and we agree.

So, here she is in DSM.
Am I holding a shoe that I saw in Vogue last month??
The jacket Filipa is wearing is handmade.
She painted an old jacket that belonged to my Mum, and it looks really good.
Especially with accessories like this.
