This is the first time Vera is visiting us at our house,
so it means she was last in my town 6 years ago.
We have met a lot of time here, there and everywhere,
but somehow she has never had the chance to come and visit my new place.
She brought me a present, a wonderful Laura Ashley lamp,
and immediately, as she walked into my hall,
she knew exactly where she was going to place it.
And she was right.
It makes this corner complete.
Without even seeing my house before,
she guessed right about two things:
what and where.
Our good old friends always know.
Wish I could visit her again in Holland.
