A NEW LAMP FROM HAAG

This is the first time Vera is visiting us at our house, 

so it means she was last in my town 6 years ago.

We have met a lot of time here, there and everywhere, 

but somehow she has never had the chance to come and visit my new place.

She brought me a present, a wonderful Laura Ashley lamp, 

and immediately, as she walked into my hall, 

she knew exactly where she was going to place it.

And she was right.

It makes this corner complete.

Without even seeing my house before,

she guessed right about two things:

what  and  where.

Our good old friends always know.

Wish I could visit her again in Holland.
This New Year's party is at her new new flat in Zagreb.
So curious to see what it looks like.

Xmas 2011

Filipa  je postala ažurnija u pisanju postova od mene. Ona je Božić doživjela ovako.

Ovog Božića Filipa je željela okititi bor našim fotografijama.
Meni je ideja bila simpatična, dok je ostatak obitelji sa čuđenjem odbio i samu pomisao
 da naš bor izgleda tako netradicionalno.
 Pošto joj se želja nije ostvarila, gunđala je čitavo vrijeme
kako uvijek na isti način kitimo bor
i kako nismo originalni i inovativni.
Bacila se na pravljenje božićnih kolačića, koje je opisala na svom blogu, 
ali nije spomenula da je kuhinja nakon toga izgledala ovako..

... a ona je, naravno, izgledala ovako..
